Anne Phung Nguyen
I am Anne Phung Nguyen and I am an Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in beautiful Orange County California with my amazing fiance JP and happy go lucky Dad Henry. A lot of people know my username as @annephung on Instagram which is where I share my life from ups to the downs. My family moved to America. In the age of 1 and 1/4 I was able to join my parents. When I realized that I had the potential to be a successful person I set out to succeed and make my parents happy. There was a specific plan for me in life: go to university, get a job, get married, buy the house, and then have kids. The lifestyle I had imagined for myself wasn't what it turned into. 2013 was the year I realized I disliked my corporate position. Even though the compensation and the status was great but I did not feel that the work was satisfying. It was more like I was wasting my time. While navigating my way towards a new career path, I discovered that I was meant to become a personal trainer. I enjoyed exercising, I enjoyed having fun and I enjoy helping people. My business was founded in the year 2014. I am celebrating my seven-year anniversary this year. Being an Asian female in this industry there are a many of us. My goal in this industry is to help create a durable and healthy lifestyle that meets the needs of my clients. Additionally, I would like people to feel empowered to pursue their goals and achieve anything they desire in their life. When I began my professional profession, the loss of my mother was the greatest loss to me. To be in Heaven she rests now after an 8-year battle against Scleroderma. However, I carry my Mom with me and dream of her every day. It's incredible how life can give us the exact lessons we need even when we don't realize it. The passing of my mother has altered my life in several ways. I truly believe that her death gave me the chance to start an entirely new chapter. When she passed away on Tet/Lunar New Year Day it was her time to start the next chapter of her life. It was also a chance for me to have my second chance of living a happy, fulfilled and meaningful life. When I reach my 30's, I feel more alive than ever. I can truly say that I live my life today and not just surviving just like I did before. As I share the story of my journey, it's with the intention that people will be able to understand my feelings and thoughts. In order to feel that they're not the only ones. It is also a sign of real love. Therapy is necessary and not abnormal. In the end, your wellness is your greatest wealth. Because death is all that we can have I want you to enjoy the rest of your days and live with no regrets.
