Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale plays American professional player who plays for the Dallas Wings of the Women's National Basketball Association. She played in the NCAA basketball tournament for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, prior to being selected by the Wings with the fifth overall pick of the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was born the 2nd March, 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale was her 26-year-old brother and Dare Ogunbowale, 20 years older. Her parents spoiled her the most because she was the most young. Gregory's father served in the Nigerian Army. Ogunbowale comes from a family which has strong ties to sports world. Her mother Yolanda played softball at DePaul and her brother Dare has a career in football. Her cousin Endia Olive plays volleyball on the field at Tennessee State. Ogunbowale was listed on her college's Honour Roll for three years consecutively. Alongside her fame, she has been awarded numerous awards during her schooling. Arike was a graduate of Divine Savior Holy Angels High School in her hometown. She also played three varsity seasons during her time at the school. Ogunbowale led her team to amazing victories thanks to her incredible skills multiple times. The high school graduate compiled her track record of 73 career starts and lists career totals of 1 477 and 739 rebound. Ogunbowale is the recipient of Gold Medals in the 2013 U16 FIBA Americas Championships as well as the 2014 FIBA U17 world Championships as well as the 2013 3x3 FIBA U18 Championships. In July 2014 she was chosen as a player on the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale is also selected for the ACC All-Freshman Team after her first season as a collegiate player. Ogunbowale was also congratulated by the Kobe Bryant after she hit many big shots during the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale is, despite being relatively new to basketball, has established herself as an international star. She's sure to keep her status in the game. Arike Ogunbowale's wealth amounts to around $5 million, according to one source. Ogunbowale is a pro basketball player who excels in many other aspects. She is also a soccer player and has won three State Cup championships with Lake County United Soccer Club, and 1 State Cup championship for FC Milwaukee Soccer Club.
