Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was 14. She began training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her first amateur appearance at 18 at WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd had an amazing 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent within the first round. She then went back to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen in the fight, beating her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's amateur records were marred. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in the year 2015, when she signed as a player with Invicta FC. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the the first round via TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen rise into the Bantamweight division after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill as she was able to end her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen then went on to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, but Aspen won and beat Hoy by TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina by pounding and grounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO in second round. Ladd continued to dominate and picked up a more amazing victory in her subsequent match against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd ended Evinger during the first round, and was awarded her a night's performance bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks in her debut fight. Ladd won the night's main event fight bonus, after both fighters had an intense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, lost to Randamie. In a recent match replacement to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. She was beaten by a majority verdict.
